Caring for your kid’s teeth can be costly
Especially if they don’t visit their dentist regularly!
“As a dentist and father, I understand how important it is to parents to provide the best dental care possible for their children. Frequently this even means putting our children ahead of ourselves.”
We encourage mums, dads and carers to bring their children to see us for regular six-month hygiene visits from the age of two years.
With sugar, an almost unavoidable element of our diets, these six-month visits, together with strong dental hygiene habits of regular brushing and flossing, are the very best way for us to identify and stay ahead of any emerging issues.
Over and above regular clean and scale treatments for kids, we also work with our younger patients on their dental and facial development, emergency dental care, fissure sealants, mouthguards, and early treatment to avoid braces where possible.
What’s the best way to care for kids’ dental health
Seeing your children regularly over the course of their childhood and into their teenage years provides them with a foundation of healthy teeth and gums that can last a lifetime. It gives us the best opportunity to identify very early whether they will need braces, wisdom teeth treatment, or manage any dental emergencies that may arise from sport or other recreational activities.
As partners with most major health funds, we’re able to provide very affordable dental care for your whole family.
Looking for ways to connect and learn more about your dental care? We are too!
Apart from visits to our practice, we love staying in touch with our patients to share our news and views.
