A regular hygiene visit is an important line of dental health defence
Are you booked for your next appointment?
“It is easy to overlook the importance of a regular hygiene visit when you don’t know the difference it makes to your overall health and wellbeing, but a scale and clean with your dentist is a treatment every patient who values good health should schedule in.”
At these regular visits – ideally every six months – we’re able to assess the state of your teeth and gums. It’s also an opportunity for you to share with us any issues or challenges you’ve been experiencing between visits. Missing these visits might seem like a good option, however in the long term, it can be very costly.
Bad breath, bleeding, sore or receding gums, and loose or sensitive teeth are all signs that you’re due for hygiene visit, however there are many issues which don’t present with any obvious signs at all.
If you have any concerns at all about your dental health, your hygiene visit is the best place to start on your dental health journey.
