“Instantly reduce wrinkles and folds with dermal fillers. You will walk out of Timeless Smiles with a beautiful natural fresh look and an increased sense of confidence.”
As we age, our skin loses its firmness, elasticity and volume, leading to fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin.
Dermal fillers are injected beneath the skin’s surface to smooth wrinkles, lift and add volume and contour to your face.
They also bring back lost hydration and are a safe non-surgical treatment to cosmetically enhance areas on your face that may lack volume or definition.
The filler is a low-density gel composed of stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA) which already occurs naturally in the cells of the skin.
Dermal fillers are a natural alternative to cosmetic surgery and virtually painless with long lasting results. Depending on the type of dermal filler, results can last 6 months - 2 years.
At Timeless Smiles we use Belotero. This is a lower density filler which makes it a particularly good option for filling finer lines and wrinkles.
Belotero also contains an anaesthetic which makes it a more comfortable experience during and after the procedure.
Every treatment is tailored to you – we can enhance and reshape features, restore hydration and plump up facial tissue.
Filler is carefully injected into the areas of your face by Dr Patel. The filler works by drawing in water to augment the skin and reduce the wrinkle. It is not permanent, and it is totally biodegradable.
The results are instantly visible and will continue to improve over the next 2 weeks.
You will walk out of Timeless Smiles with a beautiful natural fresh look with minimal pain, bruising and down time.
A good treatment will soften, lift or rejuvenate visible signs of ageing caused by volume loss.
Fillers can plump up your lips, enhance cheek volume, re-shape the chin, jawline,
temple, and get rid of sagging skin under the eye.
The reduction of the depth of permanent lines and wrinkles gives you a smoother, fresher appearance. With this comes an increased sense of confidence in how you look.
1. What does the procedure entail and is it painful?
Basic dermal filler procedures are simple and straight-forward. Belotero contains an anaesthetic to help make you more comfortable during and after the procedure.
Treatment begins with Dr Patel examining your face and taking some proportion measurements, and then injecting small amounts of the filler over the treatment area. If you’re concerned about pain, Dr Patel can apply a numbing agent to your skin first. Some people say it feels like a series of tiny pinpricks.
After injecting, Dr Patel then gently massages the area to spread the gel for the desired look. The amount of product and number of injections will depend on the area being treated and the extent of enhancement desired.
The process takes about 15-30 minutes.
2. How soon will I see any result and how long does it last?
Results are seen instantly after the treatment, and it gradually improves over the course of the following 2–4 weeks.
Results can last 6 months – 2 years although optimal results can be maintained over a longer period of time through regular repeated treatments.
The longevity varies from person to person depending on your body metabolism, the severity of the wrinkles that are being treated, and the number of treatments that are administered.
3. Are dermal fillers safe?
Yes. We use only products with proven safety record. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a substance which occurs naturally in the cells of the skin, thus there is no risk of allergic reactions.
Even people with food sensitivities can receive these fillers safely.
4. What are the key benefits of having my treatments at Timeless Smiles?
We will not compromise on our standards and we use high quality dermal fillers for results with better lift and tissue support.
Consultation and treatments are personally undertaken by Dr Patel who has been trained by the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA) for skin rejuvenation including dermal fillers, Botox, micro-needling and skin resurface treatments.
As a dentist, Dr Patel has spent most of his professional life working around your face. He has a detailed knowledge of your head anatomy, from your chin to your forehead, as well as all the soft tissues around your mouth. Dr Patel, as a dentist, gives more daily injections than pretty much any other profession, so it makes perfect sense to combine some facets of the cosmetic and dental industries.
5. Are there any side effects?
Today’s dermal fillers have come a long way since the first-generation of collagen injections.
Advanced injection techniques and improved product safety means that significant side effects are extremely uncommon but may include redness at the injection site, swelling, bruising and some tenderness.
Contour irregularities can and do occasionally occur. Massaging can smooth out any ‘lumpiness’.
6. Are there any after-care instructions?
After your treatment we will go through aftercare in order to maximise your treatment benefits and avoid any undesirable side effects.
You can resume normal activities, drive yourself home or return to work immediately after the treatment. We do recommend you avoid strenuous exercise, exposure to extensive sun or heat, and alcohol for 24 hours.
As with any type of injection there may be some slight redness afterwards. Makeup may be applied.
The results directly after the treatment should not be seen as the final results. This is because over the following 2 weeks the results will continue to improve.
If you can’t find the treatment you’re seeking, contact Dr Nimesh directly to discuss your specific needs.
We’re committed to helping you resolve your dental concerns and reach your dental goals.
